Mission Statement
Duties set forth in State Statute 59.25, including, receipt and deposit county funds, print and disburse accounts payable and payroll checks, maintain all county bank accounts, manage investments, collect all postponed and delinquent property taxes, prepare tax settlements, maintain records of all unpaid taxes, and administer lottery credit. The Real Property Lister maintains current ownership of all property in county, prints assessment and tax rolls, working with local assessors and clerks to balance assessment rolls and calculate property tax.
Plat Book (NEW 2023 Edition!)
The Treasurer’s Office is responsible for creating, maintaining and selling the Rusk County plat book. The 2023 Rusk County plat book is available at the County Treasurer’s office. Cost is $30, plus $5 for shipping and can be ordered by paying on-line or sending a check to the Rusk County Treasurer.
