Mission Statement
The mission of Trail's End Camp is to serve a diverse population of indoor campers by providing clean and safe facilities with a strong emphasis on attracting, catering to and educating youth organizations interested in outdoor recreation and learning.
Camp Description
Trail's End Camp seeks to further the education of youth and those who work with them in the areas of nature and environment, history and heritage, and outdoor recreation while preserving the scenic beauty of northern Wisconsin.
Trail’s End Camp is a 189 acre property owned by Rusk County located 2 miles northeast of Bruce along the Chippewa River. The camp is the ideal location for your group’s next retreat, conference, workshop, graduation, family reunion, or wedding. The camp offers plenty of space for indoor and outdoor activities. The facility consists of 9 cabins, dining hall, commercial kitchen, assembly room, infirmary and restroom/shower house. Numerous recreational facilities exist including a softball field, archery range, volleyball and basketball courts, GaGa Ball Pit, swimming area, horseshoe pitch, outdoor amphitheater, barbecue pits, fire rings, challenge course and a swimming area with access to the Chippewa River. There are hiking trails that can be used for cross country skiing and snowshoeing in the winter. Trail’s End Camp may be reserved by the day, week, or weekend.
