Sheriff Divisions & Units

Rusk County is made up of twenty-four townships, eight villages and one city.  The Rusk County Sheriff’s Office is responsible for enforcement in the entire county with the exception of the City of Ladysmith, which is enforced by the Ladysmith Police Department.  The Rusk County Sheriff’s Office also patrols the county’s lakes, snowmobile and ATV trails.
