Tree/Shrub & Perennial Plant Sales

It is that time of year again for our annual Tree Sales. We hope that you all had a great year this past year and hope that the trees you ordered are doing great. We look forward to your orders, if there are any questions about the trees or any tree related questions feel free to give us a call or email. Thank you for your continued support of our Tree Program. We are still limiting the number of apple trees that can be purchased like we did last year. We are only allowing 4 apple trees (Honeycrisp/Cortland/Zestar) to be purchased per household. Remember this is on a first come first serve basis, so the quicker you can get your order form in with the payment the more likely you are guaranteed to get the trees you would like.

We have also started a Native Perennial Plant Sale. There are 4 different collections that you can order, each collection comes in a flat that consists of 32 plants all planted in 2” pots. Each flat will contain some of the plants that are listed on the form. This order is NOT on a first come first serve basis, so you will be able to order at anytime until May 13th. The pick-up date for the perennial plants will be sometime in mid-June. If you have any questions on the Native Perennial Plants feel free to give us a call or send an email.

The county pre-orders a certain number of trees each fall. In January, they send out order forms to the public. The orders are first come, first served. Once all the pre-ordered trees are claimed by the public, no more are available. Order forms are mailed, emailed, posted on Rusk County website and posted in the Ladysmith News.

Call 715-532-2162 or email any of the staff if you have any questions about species or to join the mailing list.

Order pickups and left over trees are typically sold around the last weekend in April at the Log Building at the Rusk County Fairgrounds. (Depending on weather)

Tree species vary slightly from year to year.
