Permits

You must obtain a permit from the Rusk County Highway Department.  Below you will find a list of fill-able PDF's.  You may submit your application by mail to: Rusk County Hwy. Dept, N4711 Highway 27, Ladysmith, WI 54848.  If a fee is required, your permit application will not be processed until receipt of the fee.

Adopt-A-Highway Safety Facts All volunteers are required to read the safety facts before participating in a road-side clean up.
DRIVEWAY PERMIT INSTRUCTIONS --THESE INSTRUCTIONS MUST BE READ PRIOR TO COMPLETING THE DRIVEWAY PERMIT APPLICATION
Firewood Permit Permit if for cutting wood on Highway Dept owned right-of-way and property
Right-of-Way Work Permit Permit to construct, operate and maintain within the highway right-of-way. This permit is used for any type of private work within Rusk County Highway right-of-way no matter how minor the work may be.
Utility Application/Permit Any utility work within a Rusk County Highway right-of-way, requires a permit
