Mission Statement
The mission of Rusk County Recycling is to promote recycling, composting and resource recovery through the administration of an effective recycling program.

Who is required to recycle in WI?
Everyone, everywhere, all the time!  Wisconsin’s recycling requirements apply to everyone in the state, at all locations.  This includes schools, public places, businesses, special events, homes and apartments.

Miscellaneous Year Round Collections:

Rusk County Recycling accepts the following year-round:

• Rechargeable batteries and cell phones
• Mercury thermometers – will exchange for a digital one
• Ink jet and laser printer cartridges – no toner or re-manufactured ones
• Button batteries (these are the small round silver ones from watches and hearing aids)
